For over 40 years now, I have tried to capture the beauty of my native Greece, working on my  favorite medium, watercolor. I paint on location when I visit and bring back photographs for reference when I’m back in the US. The subjects are numerous as this small Country in the south eastern corner of Europe is endowed with natural beauty – an artist’s paradise. The blue shades of the Aegean, the myriad of islands, each one with a unique character. The mountains, skies, chapels, remnants of past glories. Temples, statues all have offered me a playground and a challenge that will keep me going till the end.
